Tai Chi Chuan, often translated as Grand Ultimate Fist, is an ancient martial art that emphasizes slow controlled movements and coordination of the body and mind. Students will learn how to integrate proper structural alignment into their everyday lives while also calming their thoughts. Each class generally consists of light warm-ups, stretches, and some fundamental exercises followed by a short movement form. Some examples of the movement forms include the 32-movement Wu-Style Short Form as well as the 24-movement modern Yang-style form. These two movement sets allow you to practice the Tai Chi movements in a choreographed set in a specific order.

Tai Chi classes are held Friday mornings at 7:00 am
Qi Gong classes are held Thursday mornings at 7:00 am
