Today is Wednesday April 22nd.  This is my first BLOG post and I’m going to keep it really informal.

Just two days and one month ago I signed a lease to start my dream business which is now called Central Path Acupuncture and Wellness.  Wow.  The past month has been filled with construction, marketing, website building, meta-tags, and then more construction and it’s still not finished.  Very exciting and almost thrilling to be living your dream and to be filled with purpose.

The construction was and continues to be an interesting process as I’ve never really done anything like this before.  Good thing we all get by with a little help from our friends.   Demo was fun until we ran into walls created for the Hulk.  That would be wood studs, sheet rock, plywood and sheet rock on both sides of the wall.  Six layers?  Ewww.  Oh and by the way they were all held together with 3.5″ exterior siding nails slapped in like random raindrops falling into a river.  It wasn’t fun at the end.  Then flooring, the initial round with the heating and plumbing guys, then Carlos the electrician.  Great guy.  It’s funny the characters that you meet in Waltham, MA.  Talk about multi-cultural – I’ve got a Mexican, Cuban, Bristish and some full-blooded patriots helping me out with this work.  

Tomorrow the inspector is coming – keep your fingers crossed.  IF that goes well then we get a good jump on the dry wall and hopefully finish the walls, the paint by mid-week next week.  Then flooring and open the dooring.  I mean the doors.  All the other details will follow.  Right now I’m going to listen to a group call titled “How to Make a Quantum Leap in Your Wealth.”  Wealth in a monetary, spiritual and life sense of course.  There is like 6,000 plus people tuning in so it should be interesting.
