Brendan Carney’s central interest is to help people live with boundless energy, thriving health and complete happiness. Brendan is a Licensed acupuncturist (Lic. Ac) and Chinese Herbalist with a specialization in Japanese Acupuncture Styles (JAS). He is Certified by National Certification Committee on Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in both acupuncture and Chinese Herbs. Additionally he holds a degree in Exercise Science and has been a Nationally Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach since 2001.
Brendan also serves as a Teaching Assistant at Harvard Medical School’s Structural Acupuncture for Physicians Course. He has studied the Kiiko Matsumoto style of acupuncture extensively with renowned acupuncturist David Euler.
Brendan is also a Tai Chi and Kung Fu practitioner and teacher has been studying mind-body exercise for over ten years. He incorporates Tai Chi and Qi Gong exercises into his acupuncture sessions, as well as Chinese herbal medicine, nutrition counseling, and tuina, a form of Chinese bodywork.
